Lemongrass + Ginger Essential Oil Candle
Lemongrass (cymbopogon flexuosus) + Ginger (zingiber officinale)
We blended the fresh lemons and a grassy-herbaceous aroma of lemongrass with the intense, fresh, sweet-green, citrus and light woody-floral undertones of litsea cubea. Litsea Cubeba essential oil was first distilled in the early 1950s from little berries that grow on small tropical evergreen trees native to China, Indonesia and other parts of Eastern Asia. That lemon zesty blend was then mixed with ginger root. Historical usage of Ginger is geographically and culturally vast and it is considered one of the oldest and most important aromatic plants.
ALL NATURAL, PLANT-BASED. Each candle is handmade using botanically-derived cannabis terpenes, ethically sourced essential plant oils, 100% virgin coconut soy wax, and FSC-certified wooden wicks.
100% UPCYCLED GLASS. We hand pour each of our candles into a limited quantity of vintage glassware and used candle containers—sourced from local thrift shops, yard sales, estate auctions, and donations—which are then cleaned and upcycled into Good Tree® candles.
CANDLES WITH A CAUSE. All proceeds go to the Friends of Narberth Park, a community-based 501(c)(3) helping to bring sustainability and environmental conservancy to Narberth and the surrounding Darby Creek Watershed, which flows through the John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge.
